Dhaka

I was a lawyer before I started photography. I came to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh to study photography, leaving my work as lawyer in Chittagong. Chittagong is my hometown, a small and calm city. When, I call into Dhaka, I found people in the street move like machines, without smile or happy mood. The stress I see on their face channels into my life and me; I find myself like them very often, when I stare at the window glasses of shops while walking through the street of Dhaka. In this time, someone took my 19-year-old bicycle and I started moving through the city by local buses here what is the most horrible experience for me, as denseness of people and their stress leave no little space for me. I found myself transforming into something like them. Then, I started taking the photos of faces full of stress. I think, these photos are not only their faces, my face is also one of them.
